Single Release & Online Event: March 13th

This is Reality, my debut single, is really-nearly here! Due to release at midnight in your timezone, on Thursday 13th of March. A recording in some ways years in the making, this song is made from a moment, on the edge of adulthood, when I realised it was time to differentiate expectations from what I really wanted, and start trying to build a life which made me believe those old dreams are worth waking up from.

It’s a no-nonsense note-to-self, advising we let go of perfectionism, potential and idealised versions of who we could’ve been. I am who I am, and this song gives me a space to accept, and -just maybe- celebrate that. Follow me on your chosen streaming service or social platform to get an update when it goes live!

The Release Party...

Online community has always meant the world to me as a chronically ill person, much of my self-acceptance wouldn’t have felt possible without the long-distance disabled community I’ve connected with over the years. With that in mind, it seems only fitting to host my first single release party online. I’m planning to stream live on Youtube at 8pm for an hour on release day (March 13th) GMT/UK time. We will have live chat enabled, I’ll play a few songs, there will be time for me to tell you the story of every poster on my wall (as featured on the single cover!), along with a Q&A session for anything else you’re curious about.
